The Embassy of Switzerland hosted its annual flagship
event in Washington, D.C. this month in which Ambassador Martin Dahinden and his wife Anita invited several hundred guests to socialize and explore the embassy. We were delighted to work with this organization again for their annual bash!
For this year's 14th Annual Soiree Suisse, the theme was Space. Naturally, cheese, chocolate, coffee, and riccola
were served to guests; but in keeping with the theme,
stargazing was encouraged as there were several astronauts in attendance – including the first and only Swiss astronaut thus far, Claude Nicollier.

The evening concluded with the delivery of the Tell Award to Claude Nicollier in recognition of his achievements in furthering Swiss, European, and American cooperation in space. Guests were also given the opportunity to “test fly” the new flight simulator and virtual reality tool, Birdly, from Switzerland's Zurich University of Art and Design.

While this wasn't our first Soiree Suisse we worked on, we certainly must say it was the busiest! Our team (sans Birdly gear) checked in 200+ guests for the party which continued throughout the night. Happy 14th, Embassy of Switzerland!
