Our team was ready to check in guests for Stand Up To Cancer, the groundbreaking initiative created to accelerate innovative cancer research, to honor Award-Winning Journalist, Katie Couric, for her dedication to cancer advocacy.
While CheckIn Tech greeted and used our technology to confirm each guests’ entry, the attendees gathered inside the luxe landmark venue, Cipriani® Wall Street. Upon receiving her award, Katie Couric said, “This honor means the world to me, but the real heroes are the scientists and doctors who are working day and night to find new ways to help patients fighting cancer.”
Event co-chairs included Jim Toth and Reese Witherspoon with performances from Tony Bennett, Sheryl Crow, Jamie Foxx, and Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum. We were honored to be a part of such an amazing event hosted by Stand Up To Cancer with such a strong list of collaborators.
