It was certainly an evening to inspire!
FIRST®, the international, K-12 not-for-profit, gathered supporters of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education for its inaugural FIRST Inspire Celebration at 583 Park Avenue.
The organization honored Michael R. Bloomberg, will.i.am, and NYU student and FIRST alumna,
Diana Lee Guzman, with individual awards for their independent efforts to advance STEM education
in underserved communities in both NYC
and Los Angeles.

The team from CheckIn Tech was on duty with iPads, printers + more for the event which raised $1.7 million to further expand diversity efforts and directly support the mission of FIRST. The event featured prominent speakers Bill Ackman, founder & CEO of Pershing Square Capital Management, L.P.; Don Bossi, president of FIRST; Dean Kamen, founder of FIRST; and many FIRST students.

Congratulations to FIRST for hosting an
inspiring inaugural celebration!
