As CheckIn Tech remained onsite for both press and general check-ins during the Annual Awards Dinner for the Jackie Robinson Foundation, our team also came equipped with our unique speed printers to keep traffic moving. Having greeted, checked-in, and printed name tags for nearly 700 guests over the course of this event, we were certainly busy!
The annual event hosts Scholars from the JRF who have traveled to New York City to attend the annual Mentoring and Leadership Conference. For four days, the group meets for developmental workshops, seminars, cultural and recreational outings,
life skills classes, and more – with the conference culminating for the Annual Awards Dinner.
Nestled in the heart of Times Square, the venue for the event was the New York Marriott Marquis. In addition to an evening of optimistic energy flowing from the 4-day conference, the dinner also boasted honorees including Bobbi Brown,Ambassador Dan Rooney, and Robert F. Smith with the actor, Andre Holland, as the emcee for the festivities.
Our team paid close attention to guests navigating in and out of the dinner, and we were delighted to greet each and every one. Congratulations to the JRF for hosting another fantastic hallmark event and Awards Dinner!
